At Via Vita Health we have a comprehensive range of health and wellbeing services to suit every school and college from Key Stages 1-5. We work closely with schools to help engage their pupils, staff, parents and community in health and wellbeing and give them the tools to adopt a healthier lifetsyle.
We work with pupils of all ages and abilities to encourage them to adopt a healthy lifestyle through our interventions. This can be provided as a whole school initiative or we can work with smaller targeted groups.
We deliver interactive and bespoke health and wellbeing CPD sessions for staff to help them manage their own own health and wellbeing as well as looking after the people in their care.
KEY AREAS FOR PUPIL WELLBEING
All of our content, workshops and resources focus on these 3 fundamental elements of health and wellbeing for pupil of all ages and demographics.
Rolling Pupil Workshops
We provide interactive rolling workshops and resources for pupils of all ages. Covering topics from physical wellbeing, mental wellbeing and wellbeing.
Physical Activity Sessions
We provide physical activity extra ciricular and ciricular sessions in schools to get more children involved in sport (Including yoga, boxercise, bootcamps)
6 Week Learning Blocks
We provide 1 hour pupil workshops and learning course to cover 6 week term blocks. Working with specific target groups of pupils.
1-2-1 mentoring programmes and support for high risk groups of pupils and can work individually with staff and parents to support pupil wellbeing.
All of our programmes are bespoke to you and are tailored to your school's needs. We will work with you to help shape and effective programme.
Bid Writing & Funding Options
If you don't have funds available to fund your health & wellbing programme then we can write and send off bids on your behalf to draw down funding.
Caroline spent 10 years working as a PE Teacher and Assistant Head at a High School in Worcester and also has experience in the private sector working with both employees and young people. This year she has been appointed as the Health & Wellbeing lead for PixL Club and in 2009 she won “The National Sunday Times Physical Education Teacher of The Year Award.
Her work is frequently published and she has been acknowledged through the many awards she has won, such as The National Wellness Challenge winner and The Team GB Competition winner. She has lead, written and delivered national projects with the Dame Kelly Holmes Legacy Trust, London 2012, Sochi 2014 and the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
Teacher & Parent Services
We provide a wide range of CPD training relating to health and wellbeing on inset days for all staff.
Before of after work staff enrichment and coaching. Ficussing on lifestyle mapping, stress management, nutrition and physical activity.
Physical Activity Sessions
6 week block programmes to get teachers fitter and healthier by providing them with physical activity classes befor eand after school. Classes include yoga, bootcamps, pilates etc.
Financial wellbeing coaching and support as well as advise on key financial products such as PMI, cashplans, life insurance and serious illness cover.
Staff Health Checks
Quarterly 30 minute health and lifetstyle consultations and support for all staff members to help them monitor and achieve their health and wellbeing goals.
Bespoke workshops and training for parents and the community to help create a healthy environment for children at home and at school.
